Atlanta SPIN Mission Statement

Atlanta SPIN was chartered in 1994 and since then has been an influential voice for software process improvement in the Atlanta metro area.  Atlanta SPIN meets every month except November and December. Meetings typically attract individuals with a background in software development with specialization in business analysis, quality assurance, software development or management of various types of IT personnel.  The meetings provide a forum for like-minded people interested in learning from others and sharing their own experiences about process improvement, quality assurance, software development methodologies and other related topics.

There is time allowed before and after the meeting for networking among the participants.  During the meeting we have a presentation featuring experts in their field, job opening announcements by participants at the meeting, raffle door prize drawings and announcements of upcoming meetings, webinars, workshops and other events that are related to the careers of the individuals attending the meetings.  Atlanta SPIN, through its work with Atlanta SPIN Sponsors, ensures that food and drinks are also available at no cost to the attendees and that there are no fees to attend the monthly meetings.

Atlanta SPIN is designated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation by the IRS. Your contributions may be tax deductible and qualify for corporate matching contributions from your company.
