About this presentation:

Software safety has become an increasingly important success factor and discipline in developing and implementing safe and reliable complex systems across many industries that include the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Department of Defense (DOD), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This session will work to provide an overall understanding of software safety fundamentals and a quick overview of how software safety is being addressed in NASA and DOD programs to assure the development and testing of safe and reliable systems and software.

About Gregg Taylor:

Mr. Taylor is currently a Contractor supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Project Office (TPO) as the Software and Hardware Quality Assurance Lead Representative. He has been supporting the THAAD Program for the past 4.5 years across multiple components that comprise the overall THAAD weapon system and manages a small but robust team covering Fire Control and Communications (TFCC), Launcher, Missile, Radar, and Training Devices.
