Abstract:

As companies scale agility from projects to programs and from software to other domains in the value-stream, they seek to balance the short term commitments of Lean-Agile with long term business expectations. In this presentation, we will start with a Lean-Agile team model based on Scrum to show how best to scale Lean-Agile to complex systems and product development covering a variety of Engineering as well as non-Engineering domains. We will draw the big picture to position Lean-Agile and provide simple actionable models. We will show success patterns of Lean-Agile process transformations based on practice, not theory. Join us for this introduction to pragmatic Lean-Agile for complex systems projects. ‣Learn the basics of Lean-Agile and understand why companies adopt it. Explore how Lean-Agile can be utilized across the entire value-stream, not only software. Analyze implementations of Lean-Agile, see what it can do, as well as what it cannot. Get the big picture: agile and non-agile within phase-gate governance.
