Abstract:
Do you tend to be reactive and fearful around change?
Are you challenged with employees who are resistant to change?
Is your mind working “for you” or “against you” when facing change?
Are your, or your employees', “hidden assumptions” and "stories" about change sabotaging your charge efforts?
Are performance, production and profits threatened by others' resistance and reluctance to change?
Genuine change begins with awareness of how we are programmed to resist and be fearful of change. Common approaches to change management, rather than producing true commitment, honest and sincere buy-in and intentional engagement, more often result in "compliance." Rather than increased positivity, compliant employees exhibit absenteeism, presenteeism, dis-engagement, boredom, and even subtle and not-so-subtle sabotage.
This workshop guides you to explore what’s keeping you from embracing change, to understand the "neuroscience" of change, and learn effective tools, techniques, and practices to lessen and reduce your resistance to, and free you to be comfortable with, change.
