Abstract:

Enterprises are in hot pursuit of MDM these days - MDM technology, strategy, tools, etc. What is often overlooked, yet fundamental to building such a foundational data capability, are the business and functional processes required to support and sustain the MDM effort. Without these fundamental data architecture elements organizations are effectively building their data program on a base of sand. This presentation discusses what Master Data Management is. What are the building blocks of a successful MDM program? This discussion is vendor and tool agnostic. It gets to the heart of what steps and processes your organization needs to have in place to master and manage your core data.
